Size:

Dimensions of each metal wind spinner change a bit, as the shapes are slightly different for some of them-the bee is a hexagon, the lotus flower is an oval, and the kokopelli is a circle, for example. We typically cut these to be 18 inches, but can also make custom wind spinners that are larger or smaller.

How To open The wind spinner

The wind spinners are shipped flat, and once they arrive you can pull them apart as much or as little as you like. It’s easiest to do with two people, and you can find a video showing how to open your wind spinner here.

You can display your metal wind spinner anywhere you would like! They look great on a porch, patio, or outdoor space. These wind spinners also look nice hanging in trees as you can see in the photos.

How is the metal rusted?

This item is available in four different finishes (please see pictures): black matte, bare metal, copper patina, and rusted metal.

For the rusted metal finish, we start the rusting process for you by finishing the metal and then treating it with a vinegar/peroxide/salt mixture. This is a superficial form of rust and the metal should be handled as little as possible until the organic rusting kicks in.

Organic rusting will happen as the item ages and is left to the weather elements. That means that over time your rusted metal quail will change color slightly.

Display Options
