Durable Outdoor Design

Each metal saguaro cactus comes mounted on a large, heavy base plate to prevent tipping. These cacti are made for outdoor display and will naturally develop a unique, weathered patina over time, adding character while retaining their iconic shape.

Pre-Rusted & Authentic Finish

This item is pre-rusted. It’s a process that we start right here in our metal shop.

We start the rusting process for you by finishing the metal and then treating it with a vinegar/peroxide/salt mixture. This is a superficial form of rust and the metal should be handled as little as possible until the organic rusting kicks in.

Organic rusting will happen as the item ages and is left to the weather elements. That means that over time your rusted metal saguaro cactus will change the way it looks slightly. The shape will stay the same of course but the colors will change slightly as the rusting progresses.
